The Nara Great Buddha is huge. The Todai-ji Temple, a building covering the Great Buddha, is the biggest historical wooden building in the world.
There are a lot of pretty deer on the approach to the Todai-ji Temple.
The shrine has a lot of fishing lantern which formed lines. It is impressive.
You can watch "the statue of Asura" having three faces and six arms in the hall. It is the famous statue representing the Tenpyo culture.
I like "the statue of Karura" having a head of a bird.
The photography in the hall is prohibited.
Ishibutai-kofun Tumulus located in Asuka Village was the tomb of Soga-no-Umako is widely-accepted.
The Soga clan was an ancient powerful family.
The tumulus is small at a glance, but the inside is large (cf. the animation).
It is the archeological site of mysterious stone. It is near the Ishibutai-kofun Tumulus.
Lines of Sakafuneishi Stone are similar to Nazca Lines.
Turtle-shape Stone has a playful structure that the water flows from the head to the tail.
